Draft. Fill in the operator’s details in the server settings before opening the service to the public.
GroveScribe records meetings and makes transcripts and minutes with AI. It is run by a sole proprietorship in Poland (details). By using it you agree to these terms.
- Money. Recordings are paid from your wallet in euros, by the price list on the pricing page: by the time recorded, live text costs extra. A wallet is topped up in advance; a team may instead get a credit limit and a monthly invoice. A gift on a new wallet is once per person. Money on the wallet doesn’t expire while your account is open and isn’t refundable, except where the law says otherwise; if we close the service, we refund what’s left.
- Recording other people. Tell everyone in a meeting that you record it and get their consent where the law asks for it. You are responsible for what you record.
- Your meetings. They are yours (in a team’s space, the team’s). They are encrypted with your library password, which we never get: if you lose both the password and the recovery code, nobody — including us — can open them again. Keep the recovery code somewhere safe.
- Teams. A team’s admins manage its members, settings, keys and money. Meetings recorded in a team’s space belong to the team and stay there when a member leaves.
- Quality. Transcripts and minutes are made by AI and can be wrong: names misheard, a decision missed. Check them before you rely on them.
- Availability. GroveScribe is an early version: it may change, pause or stop. One recording lasts at most .
- Accounts. One person per account; keep your password to yourself, and turn on two-step sign-in. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, for example by farming gifts.
- Open-source software. GroveScribe is built with open-source components, used under their licenses: the fonts Onest, Figtree, Bricolage Grotesque and JetBrains Mono (SIL Open Font License 1.1, license), qrcode-svg (MIT), and on the server FastAPI, Uvicorn, websockets, HTTPX, argon2-cffi and cryptography (MIT, BSD and Apache 2.0).
- Liability. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
